Overview
A private military operation invents futuristic microchip tech that enables the mind of an agent to inhabit the body of another person to carry out covert, deadly missions. The drone tech is a powerful weapon that could change the balance of power in the world, and the C.I.A. is determined to get it back before it falls into the wrong hands.
Ashcroft accepts the mission, but he soon realizes that he is in over his head. The enemy facility is heavily guarded, and the drone tech is protected by a state-of-the-art security system. Ashcroft must use all of his skills and experience to complete the mission and save the world from a dangerous new weapon.
Assassin is a fast-paced and action-packed film with stunning visuals and special effects. Willis gives a solid performance as the C.I.A. leader, and Purcell is excellent as the black-ops soldier. The film also features strong supporting performances from Goss, who plays the main villain, and Sharlto Copley, who plays a C.I.A. agent.
